This compressor is an exact match to the compressor that was on my 2001 Chevy Suburban LT. The only difference being the original was made in Japan, and the new one is made in the USA. The new compressor came with PAG oil, which you are supposed to pour into a calibrated cylinder to compare with the amount of oil in the old compressor. The only thing is that my old compressor only had 2-3 drops in it, so I was not sure whether to match the drops or just install the new compressor with all the oil.
